People leave the visit with a plan. Wren helps them finish it.
Wren is an app for patients. It reads their visit notes, orders and insurance, turns them into next steps, and keeps each one moving until it’s done: labs drawn, referrals scheduled, prescriptions picked up.

The order gets written. Then nobody owns the follow-through.
A lab to book, a specialist to call, a prior authorization to chase, a prescription to pick up. Each one sits with a different organization and a different set of insurance rules, and the patient is the only one tracking all of them. When a step slips, the outcome you’re responsible for slips with it.
35%
of primary care referrals to specialists had a documented completed appointment, in one large health system.
Journal of General Internal Medicine, 2018When patients follow through, your results follow.
Wren works on the patient’s side, across every lab, pharmacy and plan they use. That makes it useful to anyone whose results depend on people finishing their care.
Care gaps close when patients follow through.
You carry the risk when an ordered screening, lab or specialist visit never happens. Wren keeps those steps in front of each patient between visits, without adding to your care team’s call list.
Wren for value-based care → Virtual care programsYour care plan reaches the patient’s real world.
In programs where labs and prescriptions are the care, Wren sets up each step near the patient and confirms when it’s done.
Wren for virtual care programs → Health benefitsMembers get real use out of the plan they chose.
A new plan means a new network and new rules. Wren turns each doctor’s order into a next step that works with the member’s coverage, and follows it until it’s done.

- 1
Patients connect their records
They sign in to their patient portal and health plan on those organizations’ own pages. Wren gets read-only access the patient authorizes. Never a password.
- 2
Wren finds every next step
From the visit notes and orders their clinicians already write: labs, referrals, prescriptions, prior authorizations, vaccines. Each step links to the sentence or order it came from.
- 3
Each step gets set up
The in-network lab picked and times that fit their calendar, the specialist’s number with their details ready, the pharmacy and a pickup reminder. The patient takes the last tap.
- 4
It closes only on evidence
A step is done when the patient confirms it, a pharmacy claim shows the fill, or results arrive in the record. Until then, Wren keeps nudging. Never on a guess.
Nothing to install, nothing to integrate.
Federal rules give patients the right to connect apps they choose to their health records and health plan. Wren uses that access, through the same secure sign-in those organizations already offer patient apps, so there’s no integration project, no IT ticket and nothing new for your team to learn.
Wren connects to health systems on Epic today, with more records systems on the way. Patients can also bring records in from the iPhone Health app.
Small, specific and measured.
- 1
Pick one follow-through
Referrals completed, labs back before the next visit, first fills, care used in network. We agree on the measure before we start.
- 2
Introduce Wren to a group
Your patients or members hear about Wren from you: your care team, your app or your onboarding emails. We work out the right way together.
- 3
See what moved
Patients connect their records, Wren sets up each step, and we look at the measure together as the pilot runs.
Built to stay in its lane.
Only what clinicians ordered
Wren works from the orders and notes in the patient’s record. It never creates an order or suggests care.
No medical advice
Clinical questions go back to the ordering office. Wren explains logistics: where, when, what it costs, what to bring.
The patient stays in control
Patients approve anything that shares their records, and can disconnect any account or delete their data anytime.
Built for health data
Read-only connections, encrypted at rest, hosted on Google Cloud under a HIPAA business associate agreement. No data sales, no ads.
